About the Henkell & Söhnlein Group


The Henkell & Söhnlein Group gather the companies from Germany as well as other European countries, such as France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Romania, and of course, Poland.

About Group


Since 1997, 'Vinpol' has been a member of the international Henkell & Söhnlein Group with its headquarter in Wiesbaden, Germany. The tradition of Henkell & Söhnlein Group extends back to the year 1832.

The Henkell & Söhnlein Group gather the companies from Germany as well as other European countries, such as France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Romania, and of course, Poland (for more information see: 'affiliated companies'). In this way Henkell & Söhnlein Group belongs to the biggest producers of sparkling wines in Europe and is a leader in this category in Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Romania.

Henkell & Söhnlein is also engaged, with great success, in other categories of alcoholic beverages it is leading company in table wine category in Hungary and Czech Republic. It also holds a leading position in Germany in vodka category.

A relatively broad spectrum of products (sparkling wines, champagnes, brandy, table wines, desert wines, vermouths, liquors, vodkas, RTD, cocktails) makes Henkell & Söhnlein Group no longer just a wine company. It is considered to be generally a liquor company, a company that has with it many great successes and a high level of competence in many different categories of both wine and spirit products.

Pro-brand and pro-market strategies of the Group, where quality is always the priority, leads to measurable profits. Henkell & Söhnlein Group had more than a 500 mln Euro turnover and sold over 200 mln bottles of alcoholic beverages in year 2005. It is another increase compared to the previous year and confirms that company has a right strategy, where the major role plays out in its dynamics of actions, professionalism, and orientation on success.
